_Josh Beegosh

Picture
This site is dedicated to Josh, a.k.a. Josh Beegosh – one of his many nicknames!  He brought much love to my life and I wanted to find a way to honour him and his many teachings.  He was a gentle giant with an incredible sense of humour – he found a way to make me laugh every day and I am grateful for that powerful healing and joy.

Josh was euthanized on November 18th, 2009, it is a tragic story but from the ashes of sadness, something good must rise and I not only wanted to honour him but help others find a way to honour their beloved friends.  The Josh Beegosh Campaign is all about giving back, it recognizes the incredibly strong bond that exists between ourselves and our four legged companions.  The slogan “Paw it Forward” was then born!  Proceeds from all sales on this website will be donated to various animal charities.

This website is in its infant state and I hope to expand on the campaign themes and products.  I hope that you will bookmark the site and return to see the progress and I welcome your suggestions and feedback.

I encourage everyone to “Be kind to animals, they have no voice and need our care and love".

Gifts given and received

I've always believed that our pet friends are indeed gifts, to teach, to heal and help us along our life's journey.  I would like to gather stories, stories about gifts that come once a pet friend has passed.  These “gifts” can help us find strength to cope with their departure.  I'll share a “gift” with you...  One day last Christmas I was standing in the kitchen, looking at Josh's portrait and asking why I had not received any “gifts” from him, I was so distraught, I knew that a “gift” from him would help ease  my pain.  A moment later a Christmas ornament, which was a present, caught the sunlight and shined in my eyes.  I knew in my heart that Josh had just graciously helped me.  With his wonderful sense of humour, he found a way to connect “present” with “gift”.  My heart soared.

If you have a story about a “gift”, I would love to hear from you.  My dream is to put the stories together and share them with the world.  We could all use a little hope in our lives. Simply send me an email telling your story. Please see the Contact page for more details.

Kindness is an inexpensive gift that we can bestow on all.  One person, one pet friend, can make a difference!  Paw it forward!
